Abstract

The structural-mineralogical characteristic of a stony meteorite with the provisional name “Velyka Balka” is given; meteorite was submitted to the Committee on Meteorites of the Na-tional Academy of Sciences of Ukraine by inhabitant of Odesa V. Lukianets. The meteorite is classified as chondrite L4-5 with the shock stage S3 and the degree of weathering W3.
