Aims and Scope

Visnyk of the Lviv University. Series Geology aims to elucidate topical issues of geology, tectonics, mathematical modeling of geological processes, lithology, ecology, history of science; events and news of scientific life; reviews of scholarly contributions on geological sciences; create and maintain a solid scientific platform that will catch the interest of both domestic and foreign scientists.

The journal is intended for scientists, practitioners, and students majoring in geology.

The goal determines the primary objectives:

• promote the creation of an open information environment that ensures interaction between leading specialists and young scientists in geology;
• activate the development of the international community of specialists in the relevant field;
• contribute to the extension of contacts of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv with scientific and academic communities.
